WHAT IS THE NEWBURGH MINISTRY?
The
Newburgh Ministry is a community development organization in the East End
of Newburgh, NY. The Community Center enables a person to rediscover themselves,
assume responsibility for their own lives and cooperate with one another
to help bring about change in their lives and the community.
WHO RUNS THE NEWBURGH MINISTRY?
The Newburgh Ministry operates cooperatively with staff
and volunteers. It is a drop-in center which enables the clients to participate
in the ownership of the Center and its activities.

The Newburgh Ministry is located in the East end of Newburgh,
NY.
WHAT DOES THE THE NEWBURGH MINISTRY DO?
Runs a "Hospitality Room" community center.
Operates a Play and Learn Center where children are cared
for in a stimulating, enriching environment, while their parents make use
of the other programs.
Conducts Pre-employment and Job-Training programs
Organizes a food cooperative.
Operates a thrifts shop.
Runs a transportation service
On sight Advocacy/Counseling servives.
