Its center is the mystery of salvation, the mystery of Jesus, the Servant, the one sent by the Father, who laid down his life to save humankind and gather them together as one people.
It is inspired by the Augustinian tradition.
The personal and community life of the Little Sisters is animated by the desire to procure the glory of God by the salvation of the poor and little ones.
"Choose life, then, so that you and your descenclents may live in the
love of Yahweh your God, obeying His Voice, clinging to Him."
(Deut 30 : 19-20)
The Little Sisters are united by the same call, over and beyond their differences. They help one another to grow in their attachment to Christ and to bear witness to it.
They build simple, friendly mutual relations with those who have
no voice or influence. They commit themselves with them so that they
can take their lives in hand, grow in humanity and discover their dignity
as children of God.
