Between sessions of yoga and massage-therapy, retreatants attended lectures and discussions on such topics as "Celebrating what's right in the world," and "Encompassed in God's Love." For fun, there was a talent show held at "The Espresso Coffee House," where attendees could get in touch with their own sense of creativity.

Sunday morning began with a meditation session led by East Harlem's Carol Joyce who challenged attendees to affirm themselves and one another. Finally, the weekend closed with a ritual once again examining the need for revitalization in our lives.
