Meg is currently the Grant Writer for our agency in Dorchester, Project Hope. But her background is certainly not in the world of grants and social service. Meg earned her degree in Engineering and worked as a  consultant before landing a position with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Seeking to change her life after a few years of this, she joined the  LSAV program in 1998 and spent six months working at Project Hope and LINKS--our program for the deaf and hard of hearing.  After finishing her term she was hired on at Project Hope, but she didn't leave her volunteer roots behind. Meg also serves as Project Hope's liason with the LSAV.

So for her commitment to the Little Sisters of the Assumption, Project Hope, and the LSAV, Meg is awarded our Gold Star of the Month!
