Alice
is currently a Little
Sisters of the Assumption Volunteer and joins us all the way from Perth,
Australia. Ever since her arrival in May of this year, she has been a tireless
and dedicated worker in the LSA
Family Health Service's Advocacy office. A writer by training, Alice
felt that this experience would be invaluable for her career ambitions
as a bestselling author. She might be right: Alice was recently honored
in an Australian literary competition, her work appearing in an anthology
of short fiction. We're also pleased to have a sample of her writing
on our Volunteer
Reflections page. When not working, Alice can be found haunting coffee
bars with her laptop.
So for her commitment to the Little Sisters of the Assumption Volunteers, the LSA Family Health Service, and her clients, Alice is awarded our Gold Star of the Month!
