The Star of the Month is Kristina Wine, who hails from Olivet, MI.  Kristina joined the LSAV Program in January of this year, for a six month volunteer term.  She has been an essential presence at the Pernet Family Health Service, working in various capacities, including as a Classroom Assistant in the Early Intervention Program, co-facilitating the developmental play groups for at-risk children ages 0-3.   She also runs a Youth Group.

Kristina has a B.S. in Elementary Education , and when she returns to Michigan, she will be teaching middle school math. . . .lucky students!

For her bright spirit, and enthusiasm in everything she does, we give Kristina the Gold Star of the Month!
